摘要 据译者检索发现到目前为止该书还没有英译本出版发行作为该毕业论文翻译实践素材译者选取书中导论和教育宗旨部分进行英译 本报告一共分为五个部分第一部分为引言,该部分主要介绍了项目背景、项目意义以及翻译在国内的研究现状。第二部分为《中国现代教育史》翻译任务描述,其中包括了对作者和原文的介绍,以及对该教育的分析。第三部分为《中国现代教育史》翻译过程描述,该部分主要包括译前准备、译处理和译后审校三部分内容。第四部分《中国现代教育史》翻译质量控制为本报告的主部分,该部分主要分析了翻译难点,介绍了功能对等理论以及在功能对等理论指导下《中国现代教育史》的翻译策略。第五部分主要总结了本次翻译实践的经验与收获分析了翻译实践中存在的问题与不足并对翻译提出的几点建议。 通过对此次项目的翻译翻译过程分析报告总结出民国时期的翻译策略与方法并对翻译的实践和发展提出建议对汉英翻译的研究与实践提供有益的参考。 关键词:《中国现代教育史》;功能对等理论;翻译策略 Abstract This thesis, based on The History of Modern Education in China by Mr. Zhou Yutong, a renowned educationalist in the history of Chinese classics, is a translation report which summarizes the entire process of translation and translation methods of the related text. With careful retrieval, the translator has not found any English version of this book yet. Two parts, “Introduction” and “Educational Tenets” of the source text are selected as the translation material to undertake the translation practice. This report consists of five parts. The first part is an introduction which mainly describes the background and significance of this report as well as a brief review of the literature on translation of educational books in China. The second part is the task description of the translation of The History of Modern Education in China, including an introduction of the author and the original text and analysis of the educational text. The third part is the process description of the translation of The History of Modern Education in China, which mainly consists of three parts, translation preparation, translation process and proofreading. The fourth part, the quality control of the translation of The History of Modern Education in China, as the main part of the report, analyzes the difficulties and strategies thereof in the process of translation under the guidance of functional equivalence theory. The fifth part mainly summarizes the gains and defects during this translation practice and puts forward some suggestions for the translati
