REPORT ON HELLO SUWITO A Research Paper submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Course International Marketing By: 李敏怡3208008746 胡掀潮3208008743 黎华妹3208008744 陈锦娜3208008733 李志强 3108008728 2008 Trade 4 June 23, 2011 Guangdong University of Technology Guangzhou, China ABSTRACT Nowadays, more and more different kinds of new bakeries start business in Longdong Street since the business development here is becoming more and more prosperous. Hello Suwito (阿酥一品) is one of them. However, its brand awareness is not yet popular. Many people like to buy egg tart there, but while mentioning Hello Suwito, they don’t know what it is. Moreover, since the competition between bakeries is very fierce, Hello Suwito has a lot to do to survive. In order to figure out developing solutions for Hello Suwito, the researchers conducted a study. The research carried out by our group from May, 18th to June, 15th mainly regards Hello Suwito as the starting point, through methods of questionnaires and field observation, then combines with learned knowledge of marketing and other professional knowledge to analyze several factors of each bakery in Longdong Street and understand consumers’ needs and preferences. We emphasize the investigation of Hello Suwito in order to improve its quality of service, better meet customers’ needs and survive the cut-throat competition with support of datas and we will provide feasible recommendations. The researchers administered a survey through interviews on Longdong Street and Wen Juan Xing (an Internet survey data gathering system). The respondents are the passers-by in Longdong Street, the consumers in Hello Suwito and the students in Guangdong University of Technology (Longdong Campus). Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION A.
