Integrated Drive Profiles are part of our “Premier Integration” activities – improving the ease-of-use of Allen-Bradley drives with other Allen-Bradley products Recent activities, as outlined in this presentation, have focused on integration with Logix controllers and HMI’s … but it is not limited to just these products So now let’s get into the PowerFlex 750-Series, the PF 755 was released last January and we hope that you have all had a chance to get more familiar with this product. In a way this will be a review for you as you will notice these two drives are quite similar but we will be getting into more detail about where they differ. The 750-Series is the next generation of PowerFlex drives to be developed as a cost-effective solution for our customers by the “build to suit” physical characteristics, easily integrate into an architecture, and with the motor control selections and additional options, provide customers with flexibility to meet their application needs. The PowerFlex 755 is currently available at 400/480V and from 10… to 350 horse power in frame sizes 2-7 The second drive to be released in this series, the PowerFlex 753 and will be available at 400/480V and from 1 to 350 Horse power, bringing this series down to one horse power, in frame sizes 2-7 This series offers a number of options for communications, Safety, feedback, I/O and auxiliary power so that you can help your customers select which drive will fit their needs best. The control engineer can adjust the parameters of all drives on EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet using drive software such as DriveTools SP. This software also provides a multi-channel oscilloscope in order to trend values from different drives all on one screen, to monitor long term performance. The normal process of right-clicking the scanner/bridge in the I/O Configuration folder and selecting “Add Module” is performed AOP’s will replace the existing Classic Profiles and add new profiles for other drives, including
