* * A production order is always created on the basis of an order proposal. During order creation, data can be copied from the planned order as well as from the selected routing. There are different ways of creating a production order. * * * * * Production orders are managed using statuses. When the order is released, the system activates a corresponding status in the order. Order release must be carried out manually. An availability check can be carried out automatically. Order release is the basis for may follow-up processes in the production order (printing order documents, material issues, and so on).
