To guarantee the traffic safety , not only needs the improvement of driver’s quality, but also needsthe strict supervisionand effective implementation oftraffic laws by traffic management. At present, the traffic management system based on video analysis ,increasingly replacing manual management mode, has become a hot research pointof computer visionfield. In this paper,by using the technology of digital image processing, the vehicle detection and recognition of the cars which presseddouble amber lines are discussed according to the steps in detail. Firstly, we use the average method for background modeling to get the background. Then use the background subtraction method to extract the moving foreground and preliminarily optimize the foreground through morphological processing; secondly, present the viewpoint of the custom region of interest and mark the double amber linesarea as the region of interest; finally, detect and frame to remind the mo
