Cross-cultural learning Every language carries its culture to interact with another language. Take Chinese Mandarin for an example, Mandarin is loaded with long and abundant Chinese culture, mainly Confucian culture. When Chinese native speakers communicate with English native speakers, culture shock will occur. Generally speaking, a language may be used to carry a certain custom, value, way of thinking to communicate with others. Accordingly, we say that language is the carrier of culture and a mirror of culture. What is presented below forms only a tiny fragment of the Americ
