When you are reading a history articles, you will notice dates and years in the text. e.g., the 5th century, 1066. Identifying these details will help you understand a sequence of events and how pieces of information relate to the rest of the text. Nest time when you read a history article, it is a good idea to make a time chart, listing relevant information such as times, places and events, etc. in the article. For a sample time chart, look at page 58 of this book. You can certainly create a different type of time chart, for example, a table.
