Note that “Lead Chamber” is not a selectable field in dual chamber devices. Default display for all the fields is ‘blank’ (i.e., no text), which is used in the same manner in the suggestion logic as the user selecting ‘Unknown’. The difference between Unknown and blank is that Unknown will display ‘Unknown’ to give feedback that they have made a choice for that field. Blank leaves the field with no text because usability tested found that users would skip a field sometimes when ‘Unknown’ was displayed (i.e., they thought they had already made a choice for that field but they hadn’t). Note: ‘blank’ is not user selectable, and once a user programs a non-blank value, ‘blank’ can no longer be displayed for that field. * * The rationale for selection of “pending” values is available via the programmer, TherapyGuide – Rationale... button. (See subsequent slides for additional details on rationale.) For each parameter that has a “suggested” value, if the current value is already the suggested value, then no new pending value will be set for that parameter. Otherwise, the suggested value will be set as pending. The TherapyGuide button on the parameter programming screen will outlined/highlighted in blue for the first 105 days after implant. This was done simply to draw attention to this feature during the early stages of implant. It is suggested that the TherapyGuide parameters be programmed into the device at time of implant, or at an early follow-up to allow the patient’s therapy to be better tailored to their indications. Note: The TherapyGuide information ca
