Interesting and vivid opening remarks 2. Full preparation for courseware, joyful classroom teaching through lively activities 3. Serious in attitude toward teaching, but lively and vivid in forms. 4. Adequate pre-course communication with students. 5. Clear presentation of learning points for this class. 6. Have blackboard writing and courseware available. 7. Clear-cut orderliness with well defined teaching tasks. 8. Active classroom atmosphere and high participation of students in teaching. 9. Reasonable application of multi-courseware to gaining a effective classroom teaching. Class Activities (Variety, interaction patterns, relevance, interest): 1. The students introduced themselves to the teacher, and collectively elected a course rep as the teacher’s assistant. 2. Have carried out a team division in order to achieve a more effective teaching. 3. Developed a plan of this course, including the purposes and tasks for lesson review and preview, 4. Held a heated discussion on the teaching case. Handouts (Readability, relevance) Teacher uses course book as the main teaching reference. 2. Teacher finds some useful information relevant to the teaching content and hands out to the students, and students are more interested in additional information beyond the course book. Classroom Management (Discipline, maintaining interest) 1. Routine for handling administrative matters was evident. 2. Students talk around the lesson objectives. 3. Student movement was purposeful and non-disruptive. 4. The teacher was keenly aware of student involvement. 5. The teacher made flexible adjustments to support learning. Time Management 1.
