The tastes are five: sour, hot, bitter, sweet and salty. Cooking methods are sautéing, frying, braising, steaming, barbecuing and stewing. Mr. Baker: These dishes look so appetizing. What are they? Ms. Zhang: This is braised beef; that’s cold roast chicken; bamboo shoots; sour. Mr. Baker: Very nice! Not only look great but also tast wonderful!
