Introducing EMV Prime In this section… EMV Prime is a suite of solutions designed by GGG to support EMV migrations from solution discovery to actual operations. EMV Prime combines products and services that are delivered with the level of flexibility, scalability and customization that adapts to the Financial Institution’s needs. The EMV Prime approach is to work closely with the customer to understand its needs and requirements and advise him to make the most optimal choices up front. The EMV Prime suite of solutions EMV Prime is a suite of solutions that GGG is offering to support issuer EMV migrations. These solutions are combinations of products and services delivered by GGG or selected partners that are aimed at lowering the EMV migration costs as per the above-mentioned principles. The solutions are aimed at helping BOCI go through the main migration steps, from solution discovery to deployment and operations. The products and services used to build up solutions can be depicted as on the following chart. Figure 6 - EMV Prime Suite of Solutions Our solutions comprise the following: Services that enable financial institutions to define their optimal migration path: Technology awareness workshops to enable them to develop the right skills; Advisory services to analyze their existing infrastructure, define the solution that matches their needs and plan the implementation of the chosen solution; Project management throughout the implementation. Smart cards, possibly including specific developments (e.g. card mapping development or applet development). Cards issuance solutions, from the development of the required interfaces and the customization of the personalization software to the actual implementation and the optimization of operations. The cards issuance solutions include the upgrade of existing personalization centers and outsourcing services.
