This lesson includes 2 parts:Let?s Learn and Let?s Practice. It?s mainly deal with the dialogue:What?s the weather like in...? It?s... It provides Ss a real situation to practice the patterns. II.Teaching Aims 1.Aims on the knowledge To enable Ss to master the new words and the new sentence structurein this unit 2.Aims on ability To develop the abilities in listening and speaking and training the Ss? ability of working in groups. 3.Aims on emotion To foster Ss conscious of good cooperation and proper competition. III.Key Points and difficult points 1.Key points Master the new words in this unit, make sure they can pronounce it correctly. 2.Difficult Points To help Ss ask and answer the question:What?s the weather like in...? It?s... ,make sure that Ss use them into real situation. IV.Teaching method In this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based” method, that is to say, I will let Ss learn in real situation. And in this lesson CAI, school things, and a print form will be needed. V.Teaching process I will finish this lesson in 4 steps: STEP 1: Warm-up and review(5 minutes) 1.Greetings 2.Review Review the words and sentences they have learned last class by showing PPT. I will divide my Ss in 4 groups and ask them to practice. STEP 2: Lead-in and presentation(30 minutes) I will mainly talk about this step. I will show the new words Focus on the pronunciation and writing of the word. Make sure they can read the words fluently and correctly. It may takes 5 minutes.
