SECTION [26 12 13] [16271] LIQUID-FILLED, MEDIUM-VOLTAGE TRANSFORMERS [Note to Specifier: The following specification incorporates the standard features of the EnviroTemp three-phase unit substation transformer. This specification can be utilized as a specification for a single transformer.] GENERAL SCOPE This specification covers the electrical and mechanical characteristics for Three-Phase Primary and Secondary Unit Substation Transformers. All characteristics, definitions and terminology, except as specifically covered in this specification, shall be in accordance with the latest revision of the following ANSI/IEEE standards. RELATED DOCUMENTS [Related Sections included the following: Section [26 01 26] [16xxx] – Maintenance and Testing of Electrical Systems] Section [26 13 13] [16341] – Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker Switchgear Section [26 13 16] [16341] – Medium Voltage Fusible Interrupter Switchgear Section [26 23 00] [16430] – Low Voltage Switchgear Section [26 24 13] [16441] – Switchboards] SUBMITTALS The manufacturer shall provide the following information for review and evaluation by the Engineer: Shop Drawings showing layout, dimensions, voltage, phasing and continuous current capacity. Conduit entry location, cable termination sizes, mounting. Manufacturer shall provide final, as- built drawings. Installation, Operation and Maintenance manuals shall be supplied. The following checked data shall be submitted with the proposal: Core Losses @ 85 deg C or @ 20 deg C Winding Losses Exciting Current @ 100% and 110% rated Voltage. Percent Impedance Efficiencies must be provided at loading levels of 100%, 75%, 50% and 25%. Percent regulation must be provided at 0.8 PF and 1.0 PF.
