Direct service or consultative? What do they see as pros and cons of each approach (ask this question before showing slide). Many itinerant teachers have strong feelings (either positive or negative) about a consultative approach. Give them opportunities to voice those concerns, however, make sure that the conversation is productive and focused on helping young children succeed in general education setting
