Expressions for making room reservations:
I would like to reserve/book a single room for one night.
May I book a double room for three nights?
I wonder if there are any rooms available in your hotel.
I would like to reserve a room with shower.
May I make a room reservation in your hotel?
Expressions for checking in or out at a hotel:
I have a reservation with you.
I have made a room reservation here.
I booked a double room with an open view of the sea a week ago.
I would like to stay in this hotel for one night.
My friend has booked a room for me here.
2. Sample dialogues
Let the class role play the two sample dialogues in pairs first, and then encourage them to practice the dialogues in front of the class.
Guide the students to find out the useful sentences and expressions for making reservations and checking in or out at a hotel in the samples dialogues.
Relevant questions and answers for making a reservation:
