Teaching Procedure: Step1: Getting ready 1.Sing the song: How many are there? 2. Dialogue T: Hello, I am Miss Li. What’ your name? S: Hi, Miss Li. My name is XXX. T: Nice to meet you! S: Nice to meet you, too. Step3: Revision 1. Teacher takes out the pictures about Sports. Then look at the picture and read the words. 2. Play games: Guess fast Divide the class into two teams. Team 1 sends two people to the front of the room. T stands behind the two Ss and holds up a Picture Card. The class can see it but not the two Ss. The rest of Team 1 pantomimes the word on the card, e.g. tennis,soccer,baseball,volleyball, etc. The two Ss watching work together to try to guess the word and say it out loud. As soon as they guess one word correctly, T holds up another Picture Card for Team 1 to pantomime. Play up to five cards at a time.Then Team 2 takes a turn. The goal of the game is for each team to guess the words as quickly as possible. 3. Teacher takes the picture about Fruits. Then look at the picture and read the words. 4.Teacher use the patterns “Do you like apple? Yes, I do. /No, I don’t” and dialogue with student. Then ask students to dialogue with their partners whit the patters ,And communication whit each other. 5. Revise the words about Numbers and Time (1).Ask students recite form 1 to 20.Then check out randomly. And let the students speak “What time is it?” (2).The teacher takes out a model clock.
