Procedure to clean the optics lens Tools: Allen keys, Wet cotton balls (as figure 1) Step 1: a. Loosen and pick up the Coaxial light cover screws (as figure 2) b. Take off the coaxial light cover (as figure 3) Step 2: a. loose and pick up the screws in figure 4, then take off ring light b. Take off the magnifying glass and clean it with wet alcohol cotton balls (as figure 5) c. After air dry the glass, install it and then ring light, at last install the coaxial light cover Step 3: (If Step 1 and 2 have no effect, try step 3) a. Loosen and pick up 2 magnifying switch cover screws to take off magnifying switch. (As figure 6 and figure 8) b. Loosen and pick up 3 screws to take off optics cover. (as figure 7 and figure 10) c. Clean the beamsplitter 2 with wet alcohol cotton balls. (as figure 9) Note: we can see the beamsplitter 1 (as figure 11) in front of the optics after open the optics cover for the old type of E60 optics, we can also clean it with wet alcohol cotton balls d.
