It turns out that he is extremely masculine and hypercritical. He loves himself more than anyone else. Two protagonists Three supporting characters Mrs Linde : Nora’s old friend, now a widow with no one to rely on. One who has special relationship with Krogstad And finally awaken his moral consciousness; Krogstad : an employee in Helmer’s office, suffering bad luck And moral decline in his present life; Dr Rank ：a rich but badly illed man, the closest friend of the Family, keeping a secret love for Nora. Mrs Linde Dr Rank Krogstad plot The play includes three acts. In act one ——it’s around Christmas Day. A peaceful ,sweet and harmonious atmosphere fills the air in the house. Nora is happily engaged in preparations for Christmas. Helmer just gets promoted as the manager in a bank. All things are so well. They seems to be a perfect couple. Then the three supporting characters show out one by another. Mrs Linde comes to visit Nora and hopes Nora’s husband can provide her a job; Dr Rank, the regular customer, comes here, too. Krogstad, an important person in the whole play appears. He threatens Nora that he’s going to expose the secret unless Nora persuade Helmer to keep his position. plot He refers to the thing happened 8 years ago that Nora did something illegal without Helmer’s knowledge.
