In the cultivation of qualified English teachers, normal colleges ought to take this as the starting and key point, clear the guiding ideology, capture the school localization, change the piddling tendency of “normal property”, and optimize the educational objectives from knowledge, concept, skill and ability. In particular, firstly, the situation that laying particular stress on professional knowledge learning, while neglecting the cultural backgrounds and other subjects in the knowledge construction should be reversed. Instead, we should make students grasp solid knowledge not only in knowledge, linguistics, foreign language teaching, but also in pedagogy, psychology, culture backgrounds and other subjects.
