Sampling of Valves The lot identification shall be based following parameters: The valves shall part of the same purchase order. Valves manufacturered in same location with same valve type, design and size (same Stem diameter in case of rising stem type valves) and fugitive emission class. Sample Size and Selection: The representing valves shall be selected at random from each lot. The sample shall cover entire production range when lot consists various pressure class, sizes and Stem diameter.
