Useful expressions frequently used in writing conclusions: Conclusion In the present study, we investigate the relationship between risk propensity and self-employment. Whereas high levels of risk taking predict self-employment entry, a moderate risk-taking propensity rather than very high or low levels seems to forecast self-employment survival. Our findings thus suggest that different magnitudes of risk taking are associated with the decision to start a business and with succeeding in that occupation. Eg. Results indicated that whereas high levels of risk propensity positively predicted the decision to become self-employed, the relationship between risk propensity and selfemployment survival followed an inverted U-shaped curve.
