While she was falling, she was thinking about her cat, Dinah. 教学重点 读懂包含过去进行时的童话故事,了解故事的大致情节,理解主要人物和主要事件 教学难点 正确使用过去进行时,能够用过去进行时对故事进行续写 教学方法 PWP Communicative 教学用具 Multi-Media (or Tape recorder, OHP) 教学过程 Reading and vocabulary 1. Look at the picture in Activity 2 and say what you think is strange. * Put the students in groups of 3-4 to describe what they see in the picture in Activity 2 and say what is strange. * Elicit descriptions from the whole class. * Write some ideas on the board and use them to teach the key vocabulary. 2. Read the start of Alices Adventures in Wonderland and guess what happens next. * Ask the students to read the passage and find out: 1) Where was Alice? 2) Who was she with? 3) What did she see? * Ask them to answer the questions individually and then check with a partner. * Elicit answers from the whole class. * Ask them to work in pairs and guess what happens in the next part of the story. Suggest some questions to get them thinking, (e.g. Where did Alice land?/What do you think she saw?/What did she feel?/Was she afraid?/Was the rabbit in the hole with her?/Where did she go?) * Elicit some ideas around the class. 3. Number the events in the order they happened. * Read the sentences with the class. Ask the students to try to order the sentences.; s y * Tell them to read the passage again and scan for the key information.
