Among them, the two brilliant remarkable female protagonists: Scarlet and Melanie, are particularly remarkable, their characters are in sharp contrast. The purpose of this paper is given by making a comparative study of Characteristics between Scarlet and Melanie from the similar and different aspects. The analysis shows that separately these two women are fascinating, but together, they comprise the most intriguing duo of all time. It seems, at first sight, the classic pairing of two opposites.
