T: Do you often see advertisements in the newspaper or on TV ? What do you think of them?
T: Do you know something about job advertisements?
2) Make students read the two job advertisements ,then tick the requirements for the two positions.
3) Discussion:
Discuss the requirements for the two positions then to find if it is fit for you.
Listening and Speaking A
Students will listen to the tape for the first time; try to tick the correct answer in Part 1.
Listen again and underline the questions asked by the interviewer in the conversation.
Teacher will explain some useful language points in the dialogue, then make students read the dialogue in roles.
Sum up:
Ask students to sum up some useful expressions on common interview questions and possible responses. Encourage students to give some examples.
Drills:
Students will read the dialogue and finish the task in Part 3.
Role play:
Students will role-play an interview with their partner , asking and answering the questions they listed above.
Homework
Copy and recite the new words and expressions;
Finish some exercises in the learning plan.
