Listening and Speaking A
Students will listen to the tape for the first time; try to circle correct answer in Part 1.
Listen again and underline the sentences suggesting a change of time in the conversation.
Teacher will explain some useful language points in the dialogue, then make students read the dialogue in roles.
Sum up:
Ask students to sum up some useful expressions on making appointments. . Encourage students to give some examples.
Drills:
Students will read the schedules to find when they can arrange the meeting in Part 3.
Role play:
Students will complete the conversation. Use the expressions they have learned how to make appointments. Then role-play it in pairs to finish Part 4.
Homework
