1.教材分析(The analysis of teaching materials) This Unit talks about theme parks. The purpose is letting the Ss realize that there are many different kinds of parks in the world and let them remember that a theme park has a focus or message or “theme”—a central idea. It is not just an amusement park. Besides, the Ss need to broaden their vocabularies about the theme parks. 2.学情分析(The analysis of the students) In the former unit, the Ss know that cultural difference makes the body language different. With this basis, the Ss can naturally get into a new topic theme parks for there are many different kinds of theme parks in the world due to the cultural differences. Besides, they should learn to pronounce and spell relative words and expressions in unit5. 3.教学目标(Teaching aims)d *知识目标(Knowledge aims) Let the Ss know how to read and recite the following new words: theme, central, various, cartoon, fantasy, amusement, swing, attraction, tourism, unique etc. Let the Ss learn about theme parks. *能力目标(Ability aims) 1. Make the Ss to talk about theme parks. 2. Enable students to tell the differences between the different theme parks. 3. Get Ss to use some useful new words and expressions freely and correctly. 4.教学重点和难点(Teaching important points and difficult points) Teaching important points: ﹡Help students learn to understand what is the theme park is. ﹡Pronounce the new words correctly and know relative usages. Difficult points: ﹡Stimulate Ss’ interest in theme parks. ﹡Help Ss to know the differences between different kind of theme parks in the world 5.教学过程(Teaching procedures) Step 1: Warm up 1.
