(China Research Center on Aging, Beijing 100011,China) Abstract ：The report sorts out the concepts, classification and status of pension institution, combines the development situation of pension institutions in our country, points out the main difficulties and problems of pension institutions at present, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions of the development of pension institution of China. The report provides decision- making reference and related basis for the government to accelerate the development of pension institution including social pension institutions.
