We know that a high fat, high cholesterol diet is bad for our health. But we are a little uncertain about what, exactly, we need to change. For example, 1. what is the high fat, high cholesterol diet? 2.what is the high vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates diet? 3.how to get more food Fiber ? 1. Cholesterol is found only in foods that come from animals, such as: Meat , Eggs , Chicken 2. Eat more fruits, vegetables, and grains. 3. Fiber is found only plant foods. Beans and peas, Fruits ,Vegetables , Whole-grain breads and cereals function: improves bowel function, lowers the risk for heart disease, may lower the risk for certain cancers. The food label is a reliable, accurate, user-friendly source of valuable nutrition information. The Nutrition Facts label lists calorie measurements, serving size, percent daily values, minerals and vitamins, nutrients, and fat percentages. Reading food labels will help you quickly identify whether or not the food product is a healthy choice. High-glycemic carbohydrate foods: potatoes, bananas, white bread, white rice, french fries, refined breakfast cereals, white spaghetti, soft drinks, and sugar. Low-glycemic carbohydrate foods: most legumes (beans), whole fruits, whole wheat, oats, bran, brown rice, bulgur, barley, couscous, and whole-grain breakfast cereals. Eggs have many redeeming qualities even though they are cholesterol- rich. One egg yoke contains about 215 milligrams of cholesterol.
