The former one is crowded with people, while the latter one has only a single person on, yet far ahead. As far as I see it, the picture conveys to us that one should gather courage to lead an independent choice. The man walking on the staircase shows profound bravery, for he not only stays calm and sticks to himself when seeing the majority thirst for the escalator, but also bears the effort walking with two heavy handbags. However, he ends up achieving a much quicker pace than his crowded peers. The escalator and the staircase implications of the career choices we are about to make. A heavy flood of people spare no effort to take the official exams every year so as to obtain a seemingly faster route for high salary and social status, while it is always those who are brave and thoughtful enough to start their own business that have the last laugh. To put is in a nutshell, follow your personal legend and make your life choices on your own. Lonely and hard it may seem, you will be rewarded at last. From my perspective, I think this picture tells us only those who are willing to take effort can make more progress. As we can see from the image, single man is making his way up the stairs, while all the others are crowded before the escalator. It is highly ironic that those who are too lazy to take the stairs are making way slower progress than the man who was willing to exercise himself. What is illustrated in this picture also holds true in our daily life. When we get too lazy, we look for convenient ways that can take us effortlessly to the top. Yet has it ever occurred to you that thousands of other people are taking this sho
