In this paper, w e exp lo red the pract ica lw ays to elim inate the difference betw een purchase price and retail price o f drugs in hospitals, and to ana ly ze the potential loss of hosp ita ls, and to eva luate the feasib ility that soc ial m edica l insurance subsided the loss of hosp ita ls. Th is study concluded that as long asm ost of the revenue o f hospitals com e from the social m edical insurance, it is feasible that soc ia l m ed ical insurance prov ide subsidy to hosp ita ls.
