整体设计教材分析
本节课学生练习会话和写作, 描述同一个城市的正反两个方面, 对比两个城市的相同和不同之处。写作部分学生学习写一篇作文比较两个城市的相同与不同之处, 着重要考虑的是比较的项目内容。
三维目标
1. 知识与技能
1)Train students’ speaking.
2)Make students learn to write a paragraph describing two cities.
2. 过程与方法
1)Make students learn how to use some simple everyday English in a conversation.
2)Through the analysis of the steps in writing a short paragraph comparing two cities, students may learn some strategies in writing comparisons.
3. 情感与价值
Through the study of this period not only will students know how to make suggestions but they will also learn some wring skills by following the steps given.

Learn to write a description comparing two places.
教学难点
Have students form the habit of collecting materials before writing something.
