Before they set off, he should confirm the hotel reservations. Simulation practice Wu Liang, a tour guide of Sunflower Travel Agency is receiving the phone. John Smith is a foreign guest who wants to make a three-day reservation through the travel agency. The guide is offering help. Task 2 Check-In As a local guide,you should help the tourists check-in as soon as possible after they arrive at the hotel. You should help the tour escort fill in the registration forms, assign rooms to the guests and introduce them to the locations of the main facilities of the hotel. Simulation practice Simulation practice Task 3 Check- Out A guide should not only know the checking-out service procedures, but also be able to help his/her tourists prepare for check-out. An experienced guide will inform his/her tourists in advance so that they have enough time to get ready to set off. The guide should have the luggage brought to the traveling bus by a bellboy. When checking- out at the reception desk, a guide should let tourists make clear of the fees on the bills. Simulation practice Mr. Jordan has stayed in the hotel for two days, and he is checking out.
