Blessed Junipero Serra Regional FraternityFormation WorkshopWelcome The purpose of the Regional Formation Workshop is to assist and strengthen the formation programs throughout the Blessed Junipero Serra Region, by providing each fraternity with an updated and strengthened formation manual patterned on the NAFRA, “On the Road” formation workshop materials. ? Introduce and review the materials in the Blessed Junipero Serra Regional Formation Manual. ? Share the technology components-compact discs and PowerPoint presentations. ? Emphasize the discernment component of formation. ? Provide an opportunity for sharing ideas, successes, and challenges. ? Review formation methods and content. ? Establish consistent formation programs throughout the region. ? Provide each local fraternity with resources to enhance local formation programs and activities. ? Encourage neighboring fraternities to share ideas and work together on formation projects. ? Emphasize the formation needs of the individual, particularly in the areas discernment. What do these two people have in common? Teacher/Mentor Jesus and St. Francis Support without vision and challenge may encourage complacency. Challenge without vision and support may cause anxiety and fear. Vision without support and challenge leaves us wandering aimlessly.
