Sam’s Trip to the Doc By Heather Lewis This is Sam. He has a bad itch. Sam has red spots all on him. They are on his neck, legs, chest, and hands. Sam’s mom and dad think he is sick. They must have a trip to the doc. Sam gets in the van with Mom and Dad. They get to the doc fast. This is the doc. He can help Sam. The doc asks Sam if he has an itch. Sam tells the doc, “Yes!” The doc tells Sam that he is sick with the pox and that he must not scratch the spots. Sam will not scratch his spots. The doc lets Sam have pills to fix his pox. Mom and Dad are glad Sam will get well.
