I sat in the parking lot out of a store .in my truck, and waited. When I saw people who needed encouragement in spirit ,Id wait for them to go into the store and then Id walk over to their car ,put a Christmas card under the windshield wiper(雨刷) and then jump back into my truck． I did this a handful of times in a few minutes and then quietly sat in my truck and waited to see their reactions. It was a great way to stay nameless and still be there to see the end result . I gave out forty cards that afternoon. There are a few reactions that made them all worth more than I ever could have imagined. My favorite was a young woman who got out of an older car with three very Young children and walked into the bank. I put twenty dollars in her card and wrote, Moms are great! As she read it.l could see she was starting to cry. Then her kids started to cry. I could hear all four of them crying right in front of me. Now Im a 44-year-old grown man and I dont get choked up (感动得说不出话) easily, But when I heard her try comfort her kids by telling them she was crying happy tears ,I cried like a little baby. That was the last one I did that day. I cant think of anything more rewarding. I hope this works. but there is just no way any of those people got more out of those Christmas cards than me.
