Background – what is Carbon Quids and why are we doing it This was the first meeting of the STIP Board, and a terms of reference and roles and responsibilities for the group will be brought to the next Board. The project manager gave an overview and background to the project and to Carbon QuidsTM and a discussion followed. It was agreed that this should be seen as a pilot project to test out whether or not the approach used makes a difference to whether people travel more sustainably. DMC 2a. Project Management – Business Case There was a wide ranging discussion about setting up an effective project management approach in order to maximise the chance of success. The key document would be the project business case as this sets out the: scope, impact, cost/benefit analysis, resource and project plan, high level evaluation strategy and risk analysis. The Board was mindful that the following parameters needed to be reflected in the business case: Cllr Scriven wishes to use 10:10:10 (global campaign) as an opportunity to launch the concept. This begins 10th October 2010. A decision has also been taken to pilot it first on Ecclesall Road.
