It reflects both psychological and physical needs of human beings. Bible is a book of human. Great Flood plays an important role in it. There are many symbolic meanings in Great Flood. To explore these meanings, this paper will analyse them from four aspects, they are flood, Noah, ark, dove and olive branch. It is very interesting and mysterious to study Bible, and it will give you a feeling of tranquility and peace. Then Great Flood will give us a better and deeper understanding of life. They think that without the spirit of God, one cannot properly understand the word of God and they have showed some of the spiritual symbolism associated with the story of Noah and his ark. Most of them told the story of Noah rather than analysed him as human being. Moreover, some researchers only talked one or two aspects, not from an multiple perspectives.
