It has a very close relationship with the Ss’ daily life. The teaching syllabus requires students to learn how to describe outdoor activities and the history of kites . It focuses on developing students’ listening skills. To my understanding, some parts in the textbook needs adaptations to better suit students’ needs and teaching objectives.
