Unit 4 Seeing the doctor (Period 2)
一、教学内容:
Grammar time Fun time
二、教学目标:
1 能够根据提示复述Story time中生病就诊的故事;
2 能理解并掌握Grammar time中人称代词宾格的用法和情态动词should/shouldn’t的用法及规则;
3 能完成Fun time中的任务,与同学合作完成生病看医生表演。
三、教学重点和难点:
1.能听懂、会说、会运用句型What’s wrong with---? What should ---do?及其回答。
2.能通过交流,正确运用人称代词的主格与宾格以及should的肯定与否定形式。
3.能够与同学合作完成Fun time中的拓展表演;
4.能够运用所学知识提出更多的给予病人的建议

Step1 Revision
1. Free talk.
2. Review the words and sentences
1) T acts and the Ss guess the illness .
2) Review the words about the illness.
3. Review story time
T: Boys and girls, in the story, we know Su Hai and Mike are both ill .They go to the hospital. Well, what’s wrong with them? Here are some questions for you. Think carefully, please.
1. What’s wrong with Su Hai (her)?
2. What should she do?
3. What’s wrong with Mike (him)?
4. What should /shouldn’t he do ?
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. Talk about the illness from different characters.
T: We learned seeing the doctors yesterday, do you know what’s wrong with these different people?
2. Pair work: talk about problems one by one and ask for advice.
What’s wrong with her/ him / them?
She/he has … . They have …
What should/ shouldn’t she/he / they do ?
She / He/ They should /shouldn’t … .
Step 3 Grammar time
1. T: Let’s look at these sentences again ,What rules can you find.(提示: 主格,宾格,疾病名词,should/ shouldn’t动词原形)。
2. Summary.
a. T: When we ask the sick people , we often say” what’s wrong with…?
Do you know how to use the pronoun after “with”?
b. T: if you want to ask for advice from others, what should you say?
