Sentence structure of adverbial clause: 主句+连词（除and, but, or以外的）连词+从句 或者（除and, but, or以外的）连词+从句，主句 上述两种句型中的主句和从句都是完整的句子，并且两者的内在联系通过连词显示出来。 3. Classification: ①Adverbial Clause of Time时间状语从句 连接词 when / while / as / before / after / until/till immediately / directly / instantly the moment / the instant / the minute / as soon as No sooner had …than …/ Hardly had ….when… by the time each time / every time / whenever e.g. While Jenny was doing the washing up, the door bell suddenly rang.
