* * * Transcript: This is if you did not originally order the technology packages or licenses. If you have an already installed system and after the fact you want to upgrade it with a new license this is just an animated picture of the procedure that you go through. It is not different from what we have today for the Gatekeeper license. You get the product activation key which is a combination of your serial number and your product ID. So it becomes important now that people take note of their serial numbers and manage those serial numbers and you can use the CLM license manager capability or management software that we have to help customers with that. But to keep track of serial numbers and product IDs, you take that then you get this PAK code, you go to the Cisco website and you get the actual license. You take that license and you install it on the chassis and that unlocks the capability that you have purchased and you do that same process again if you want to unlock any other capabilities so for security or UC. So thats the procedure to follow. Its part of the Cisco licensing capabilities. Nothing particular to the ISR G2s. We just use the same architecture they do. * Transcript: Then I just want to take a minute and wrap up with the licensing and bundling here on the licensing. These are the actual technology licenses and theres one for the 2900 series and theres one for the 3900 series for each of IP Base, data security and UC. So those are the capabilities that you have to order or the SKU that you have to order to get them. Here on the right we have the UC features that use enforced licensing, in other words they have a software activation license and are enforced. Cisco Unity Express 7.1 and Gatekeeper are the two in that category. * Transcript: And then on the next slide we have the licenses that are not yet enforced. So this works like it does today. Its a paper license on the system but over time will become enforced which is VXML, CUBE and SRST. * T
