HELEN STOKES, COMMITTEE ADMINISTRATOR E-mail: stokesh@palmbeach.k12.fl.us ATTACHMENTS: 1 2 3 SECTION 00090 SBE-M/WBE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS 1.0 DEFINITIONS 1.1 The following terms shall have the listed meanings (the definitions shall not apply outside of this section where inconsistent with those listed elsewhere in the Proposal Documents). 1.2 Consultant: An individual, firm, partnership, corporation or combination thereof submitting a proposal for the work as specified herein. 1.3 Sub-Consultant: A person or entity who has a direct contract with the prime proposer to perform a portion of the Work. 1.4 Small Business Enterprises (SBE or SBEs): Any business firm that is certified by the District’s Office of Diversity in Business Practices (ODBP) at the time the of proposal submittal as having an average annual gross sales and an average number of full-time employees over the last three years that are less than fifty percent (50%) of the small business size standards as most recently defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration for the business firm’s relevant industry.
