中文摘要 随着时间的推移，我国的法治道路也走过了十几个春秋。然而，在社会转型的今天，出现了一些新的阶层，新的问题。这就给我们的法治道路进程提出了更高的要求，更大的难度。弱势群体就是其中一个十分明显的问题。面对弱势群体，上至国家领导人，下至普通老百姓，都在为弱势群体的法律保护献计献策。健全弱势群体的法律保护，完善各种法律保护制度，加强政府对弱势群体的保护职能，转变弱势群体自身的观念，既是人道主义和法律正义的体现，也是构建和谐社会、促进我国可持续发展的迫切需要。本文通过对弱势群体保护的重要性的研究，结合国外的研究情况，对我国的弱势群体保护情况存在的具体问题进行分析，以期望得到完善我国对弱势群体权益的法律保护的对策。 关键词：弱势群体、法律保护、完善 Abstract With the lapse of time, our countrys government by law path has also passed through ten several springs and autumns. Key words: disadvantaged； Legal protection；perfect 完善我国社会弱势群体法律保护初探 朱镕基总理在 2002年召开的第九届全国人大第五次会议作政府工作报告时，提出“对弱势群体要给予特殊的就业援助”，在政府的有关文件中首次引用了“弱势群体”这个名词，引起了人们的普遍关注。弱势群体劳动权益的保护关系到社会秩序的稳定、国家经济的顺利发展，因而作为政治国家必须予以积极的干预。将弱势群体劳动权益的保护纳入中央和地方政府的行政监察视线范围内，及时监察、及时惩处，可避免更多的突发事件、过激行为的发生，增强弱势群体的社会安全感，进而实现社会安定，促进经济发展的目的。我国政府相继于1997年10月和1998年10月签署了两个人权公约即《经济、社会及文化权利国际公约》、《公民权利和政治权利国际公约》，这两个公约都在2001年 2 月由我国全国人大批准，作为公约的签署国，我国应依法履行义务，而劳动权益的保护正是这两个人权公约的重要内容之一，因此关注弱势群体，保障弱势群体的劳动权益，既是我国忠实履行国际义务的体现，
