However，it is not easy to achieve the accurate control in practice with conventional motorized volume control damper or supply air louver due to the uncontrollable leak air inside the stairwell and the inherent variable flow characteristics of the system，etc. In this paper，variable air volume system to obtain the pressurization air supply was presented. This pressurization system was applied successfully in a high rise hotel in Singapore in 1996，and had been operated normally till now.
