Collaborative Innovation Center of CoaIbed Methane and Shale Gas for Central Plains Economic Region, Jiaozuo 454∞3 ， China) Abstract: According to the problem of the gas emission from the goaf and the gas concentration over limit at the upper comer of the coalmining face , taking the goaf of 27131 coalmining face as a study object, a numerical simulation method was applied to analyze on the law of the gas distribution, the cause of exceeding gas in upper comer was investigated, and on this basis, the gas drainage technology with high level boreholes was put forward to control gas content over-limitation, which makes the gas concentration of upper comer and retum-air current in working face get the effective control.
