There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Once, Carnegie went to the post office to send a registered letter,where are crowed with lots of people . Carnegie found the registered staff was impatient with the work, and he thought that maybe he met sth unpleasant today, maybe he has been fed up with the drab and repeated work year after year already. Therefore, Carnegie said to himself: I have to say sth nice to him. He has what really worth my appreciation? A little bit more carefully , Carnegie immediately found it. Then, when he received in Carnegie, Carnegie said cordially: I really hope my hair would as beautiful as yours. He raised his head with a bit surprise, smiling. Hey, not so beautiful as before, he replied humbly. Carnegie said to him, although your hair is no longer so much of gloss, but still very beautiful. He was very happy. They chatted happily, and the last sentence he said is: a considerable number of people praise my hair. Carnegie said: I bet, this good friend will be humming on the way home the day; I bet he came home later, will mention it with his wife; I bet hell said to a mirror: my hair is definitely beautiful ! Thinking of these, I am also very happy. Praise helps us avoid depression. Praise helps us feel secure. Praise helps us gain perspective. Praise helps us appreciate Gods greatness. Praise raises our awareness of Gods presence. If we can make sincerely praise become a habit, so, it’s
