The store has both VHS and DVD movie formats and, in order to cater to his multi-cultural customers, he has movies in many different languages. The movies he has fall into three rental categories - overnight rental, 3-day rental and weekly. rental. New releases are, generally, overnight loans (exceptions are sometimes made for new release children s movies, however); recent releases are usually 3-day loans and older movies are available for weekly loans. There is no firm rule on when a movie moves from being new to recent, or when it becomes a weekly hire. Often, if a movie has achieved cult status, he will keep it as a 3-day loan, rather than weekly. Overnight rentals cost $6.60, 3-day hires cost $5.50 and weekly movies cost $3.30 (including GST). Rajeev s customers come from all different backgrounds and have all sorts of interests.
