Abstract:Inthiswork,theimpactofCeO dopingonaTiO -SiO supporterontheAgbasedadsorptivedesulfurizationforChinese
x 2 2
standard diesel was studied. The dispersion and valence states of Ce,Ti and Ag species were characterized,and the impact of Ce
dopingwasinvestigated. TheresultsindicatedthatCespeciesandTi speciesweredispersedevenlyonthesurfaceofSiO viaanovel

co-impregnation method. Following CeO doping,the Ag specieswere in the form of oxides (about 5nm) instead of metallic Agx
particles (about35nm),whichisduetothelargeamountofcoordinativeunsaturatedsitesprovidedbytheinteractionbetweenCeOx
and TiO ,as well asthe oxidation-reduction property of CeO . The Ag in the active oxide state (Ag O )and dispersed evenly on
