Module 6 The World’s Cultural Heritage 世界文化遗产 Grammar;虚拟语气及地点、条件、让步状语从句 状语从句是高考中的必考考点, 其中大多是对状语从句引导词的考查。因此学习时要注意区分各类状语从句的引导词以及它们的词义。虚拟语气是近几年在高考题中经常涉及的语法项目。;1. 用适当的从属连词填空 ① ________ there is a will, there is a way. ② ___________ you don’t lose heart, you will succeed. ③ _________ you say, I won’t change my mind. ④He will fail the exam _______ his sister helps him. 【结论】状语从句的引导词的判断取决于主句和从句之间的语意关系。;2. 用所给动词的正确形式填空 ①The teacher demanded that we ______________ (hand) in our homework. ②My suggestion is that you _____________ (start) at once. ③It is ordered that all the work __________________ (finish) within two weeks. ④We received an order that we _____________ (leave) the building at once. 【结论】在“要求、命令、建议”等动词或名词引导的名词性从句中要使用“(should+)动词原形”这一类虚拟语气。;Ⅰ. 名词性从句中的虚拟语气 虚拟语气用于宾语从句、主语从句、表语从句或同位语从句中, 常可表示要求、建议、命令、提议、意愿等, 其虚拟语气往往是由“(should+)动词原形”构成。 1. 宾语从句中的虚拟语气 *The driver demanded that all the passengers (should) show their tickets to him. 司机要求所有的乘客向他出示车票。;【助记】宾语从句中常用虚拟语气的动词口诀 一坚持: insist 二命令: order, command 三建议: advise, suggest, recommend 四要求: require, request, demand, desire; *Jane’s pale face suggested that she was ill, and her parents suggested that she (should) have a medical examination. 简苍白的脸色表明她生病了, 她父母建议她做一下医学检查。 *She insisted that he was wrong and that he (should) apologize to her. 她坚持认为他错了, 并且应该向她道歉。;【名师点津】suggest表示“建议做某事”, 其后的宾语从句用虚拟语气; 表示“表明, 暗示……”其后的宾语从句则不用虚拟语气。insist表“坚持认为”不用虚拟语气, 表其他意义时则用虚拟语气。; 2. 主语从句中的虚拟语?? 基本结构: (1)It be/ seems + (表示愿望、建议、命令、要求等意义的) 过去分词+that+主语+(should+)动词原形。 *It is required that the students wear school uniforms at school. 学校要求学生在学校必须穿校服。 *It is ordered that the prisoner (should) be transferred to the county jail. 按照命令这囚犯将被转押到县监狱。; (2)It is important / necessary/ natural / strange/ a pity / no wonder. . . + that sb. should do. . . *It is a pity that he should fail to pass the driving test.
