On February 25, 1942, the U．S. Army discovered unidentified aircraft both visually and on radar over the Los Angeles, California area. In 1946, there were over 2,000 reports of unidentified aircraft in the Scandinavian nations, along with reports from France, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
